Meeting at the site.
Meeting with the National trust regarding access to the moorings for boat users. It looks like there may be some storage possible at the site but nothing in writing.
02
October 31st
As it stands now coming into the middle of august I can't see the site being cleared and it wouldn't surprise me if this goes on until next year.
I got a message from Grays still no answer to why my tender has to be removed along with all the others. The rowing club has the same tender and nothing has been said to them. So whats the difference?
03
Opening up the lake shore.
This has to be one of the most bizarre ideas from the national trust.
Its aready chaos on hot days and they are wanting members of the public to use the lake shore further north which is totally unsafe. The boaters police the area themselves. Thats why there haven't been any serious incidents over the past sixty years.
04
Letter to theboaters.
The latest news from the last meeting is that Grays will be sending out another email explaining any changes from the two previous meetings.
They may have tender storage and some other ideas. We were told the whole area had to be clear but this doesn't seem to be the case. One thing is for sure it's a cluster fuck.
Meaning a complete failure, a muddled mess or an utterly chaotic and mismanaged situation.
